A documentary series exploring the history and freestyle techniques of Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos international champions, combining interview-driven storytelling with dynamic motion graphics.

Red Bull needed to convey rhythmic theory, hard data, and key information about each Batalla de los Gallos champion in a way that felt dynamic and engaging, not academic. The challenge was making complex MC technique analysis feel as exciting as the battles themselves.
Radiografías needed to work as journalism and entertainment simultaneously, deep enough to satisfy hardcore Batalla fans while accessible enough to bring new audiences into the culture. Every second of screen time had to earn its place.
A motion system built for Batalla culture.
We designed a visual system that respects Red Bull's iconic color world while introducing a fresh documentary perspective. Every episode features a custom graphic package: lowers, donuts, frames, transitions, and title cards, maintaining consistency across successive years while adapting to each champion's story.
The motion design language draws from the freestyle tradition itself: rapid, improvisational, rhythmically precise. Graphics appear and disappear with the energy of a punchline, punctuating key moments without ever competing with the human stories at the series' heart.

MOOCO handled the complete post-production pipeline: editing, sound mixing, motion graphics, and the visual system. The result is a documentary series that holds its own as both journalism and entertainment, giving Batalla culture the cinematic treatment it deserves.
Working across successive seasons gave us the opportunity to refine and evolve the system, each year's package building on the last, getting sharper and more confident without ever losing the raw energy that makes the series feel alive.
